What is Itizen?

Itizen is a place to share the things you love with others who share your interests. It provides a quick and easy way to post the things you create, collect, and love: beloved bike, vintage guitar collection, DIY masterpiece, culinary creation, thrift store find, home brewed beer, whatever you choose. Continually discover unique perspectives and valuable info from others who are equally as passionate about these things. This all takes place within communities of interest, sparking conversations and exchanging stories around the things that matter to you most.

Why We Created Itizen.

Itizen is built by passionate people. Our hobbies and interests play a huge part in defining who we are, and we want to share these passions with others. We are drawn to the energy that is created when people come together around their common love of things. However, we recognize it's tough to find the right forum that provides a simple and effective way to share and explore across all of our different interests. We're talking niche communities, the kind that allow us to geek out about our things and their awesomeness.

So, we built an app that provides just that.

Who's at the Helm.

Mary Fallon and Dori Graff are the co-founders of Itizen. Both Mary and Dori are advertising, marketing, and design professionals. They have lead brand re-inventions and large-scale campaigns for companies such as Target, Best Buy, Kohls, Levi's, and Disney. As a result, they have an in-depth understanding of consumer behaviors and the relationships people have to the things they create, buy, and own.
